Reggie McKenzie is doing some serious work for the Oakland Raiders right now.

After signing cornerbacks Tracy Porter and Mike Jenkins over the past week, the Raiders’ secondary will be getting even better today, as the team has announced a new acquisition.

The Raiders have officially signed veteran safety Usama Young, who already has some familiarity with the team.

Young played for the Cleveland Browns over the past two seasons, but was with the New Orleans Saints and former secondary coach Dennis Allen (now head coach of the Raiders) before that. Young was also teammates with now-Raider Tracy Porter in New Orleans.

Young, a third-round draft pick out of Kent State, has totaled 181 total tackles and seven interceptions thus far in his young career.
