Warriors Look to Sweep Series In Phoenix: Game Preview

The Suns always seem to be a tough team to beat in Phoenix, but the Steve Nash days are over. Now, it’s time for the Warriors to continue to go in there, feel confident, and blow the Suns out. Against the Suns, in the Warriors’ opener, Stephen Curry and David Lee were cold from the field, leaving Klay Thompson, Carl Landry, and Brandon Rush with all the dirty work. Too bad Rush is out with a torn ACL.

This time will be different, however. With a healthy Andrew Bogut, a more consistent David Lee, and a scorching Steph Curry, the Warriors are looking to make the magic number 2, and possibly one with either a Laker or Jazz loss tonight.

Keys of the Game:

1. Stay with Scola:

Scola is a very tricky and deceitful player in the post, and he’s done some damage to the Warriors over the years. If Lee’s defense starts to falter, as it usually does, the Warriors will need to bring Landry in the game to guard him. Scola always has a good game against the Warriors, and if they want to win, they will need to match his productivity, or shut him down.

2. Get the Bench Involved:

It’s no secret that Landry and Jack have been two of the best bench players in the league. Fortunately for the Warriors, Jack and Landry have been playing very well lately, and are looking to do some damage against teams. When the Warriors have everyone in the offensive groove, their pretty tough to beat.

Game Predictions:

Matchup to Watch: Stephen Curry vs Goran Dragic
