NBA: Ranking the 5 Most Exciting Teams

The NBA is an exciting league from a broad view. There are some exceptions, like the San Antonio Spurs. They don’t play with flash, they don’t have may high-flyers, but they win. That’s the most important, thing, right?

But which team would put people in the seats? There are a lot of exciting teams, but this list consists of the five most-exciting teams in the NBA. These five are all locks for a playoff spot, and make the top 10 plays each night. Ironically, this list features some of the NBA’s best teams.

1. Denver Nuggets:

From dunkers like Kenneth Faried and Andre Iguadala to shooters like Ty Lawson and Corey Brewer, the Nuggets have the whole arsenal. It may be tough for other teams to play in Denver, but that doesn’t matter because the Nuggets never fail to impress.

I see a bone-chilling dunk or an incredible display of passing or shooting each game from the Nuggets, and their flash has earned them the third seed in the Western Conference. Perhaps the playoffs will bring even more exciting plays.

2. Miami Heat:

The Heat pretty much had to be on this list. When Dwyane Wade and LeBron James are “injured,” Chris Bosh completely takes control and hits a game-tying or winning three-pointer. This has happened twice.

Also, on the fast break, Norris Cole, Mario Chalmers, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade really know how to deliver the ball to each other. Their insane passes are always on target, which paves the way for a  highlight reel finish.

3. Los Angeles Clippers:

If I didn’t put this team on the list, I would get a lot of hate comments.

As good as the Clippers are, they are flashy as well. Dunks from Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan come literally every night, and they leave you with your jaw hanging. These dunks are incredible electrifying, so you wait all game for something like that. When it happens, you’re ready to explode. They also have an MVP named Chris Paul, who has a killer crossover that gets the crowd going.

4. New York Knicks:

I don’t care what anybody says. Scoring 50 points, then 40 points, all while leading your team to a 10-game winning streak is pretty impressive. The Knicks, behind Carmelo Anthony have done just that. Watching a pure scorer like Melo is one of the most exciting things a fan can do. If he hits four 3-pointers in a row, you’re buzzing. With J.R. Smith, the crowd can be brought to their feet as well. He is a great dunker and finisher, and he often leaves my jaw dropping.

5. Oklahoma City Thunder:

I don’t know what it is. The Thunder are one of the most exciting teams because Kevin Durant is a great scorer, and Russell Westbrook is a dunking point guard. It’s hard to match the intensity of teams like this.

Just when you think Durant or Westbrook are having off nights, Kevin Martin hits an insane, fading three point shot in you’re face. Then Westbrook electrifies your homecrowd with a dunk, and Durant wows them with a 3-pointer.
