NHL Trade Deadline: Sharks Acquire Raffi Torres from Coyotes

The San Jose Sharks have made yet another trade deadline splash, acquiring forward Raffi Torres from the Phoenix Coyotes for a third-round pick in the upcoming draft (via Pierre LeBrun of ESPN).

A 12-year veteran, Torres has 132 goals and 486 penalty minutes in 619 games with six teams.

He had 15 goals and 11 assists for the Coyotes last season, and has 12 points in 28 games so far this season.

The Sharks brought in defenseman Scott Hannan from the Predators earlier today.
