California Golden Bears forward Allen Crabbe will forgo his final year of eligibility and declare for the 2013 NBA Draft, the school announced.
Crabbe averaged 18.4 points and 6.1 rebounds in his junior year for the Bears, and ranks 10th in school history with 1,537 career points in 98 games.
“It has been a dream of mine to play at the next level for a long time and I feel deep down in my heart this is the right decision,” said Crabbe. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Cal and learned a lot from my coaches and teammates. I will miss a lot of people at this University both in basketball and in school. I will always be a Golden Bear at heart.”
The 20-year old forward is projected to go in the late first round in the upcoming draft, and is ranked by DraftExpress as the 34th top prospect to enter the draft.
