The A’s are officially giving Bartolo Colon another chance after his 50-game suspension for using PEDs last season.
Colon was 10-9 with a 3.43 ERA last season before his suspension. He reportedly knew of his failed drug tests six weeks before he was suspended, but did not inform the team and continued pitching.
Dan Straily will toe the rubber on Friday, but it is likely that he will be sent down to the minors to make room for Colon.
