With Kevin Kolb Off the Board, Raiders Remaining Option is Matt Flynn

With Kevin Kolb set to sign with the Buffalo Bills, the Raiders look more and more likely to complete a trade for Seahawks quarterback Matt Flynn.

The Raiders had previously discussed signing Kolb, who spent his first four seasons with the Eagles and the previous two with the Cardinals. In six games last year, he completed 109 passes for 1,169 yards, eight touchdowns, and three interceptions before a rib injury forced him to miss much of the season.

Their remaining options at quarterback look slim, and with Carson Palmer continuing to reject a pay cut, trading for Flynn seems like the way to go.

Forget trading away picks for another average unproven QB. We need picks. Just get Vince Young and let Pryor dual it out and run with what both are comfy with. Let Palmer go if we cant get a trade for him but even if we are getting late round pick take it. We need all the help we can get right now.
