Conflicting Reports Emerge on Potential Carson Palmer Trade to Cardinals

On Friday, a report from CBS Sports emerged claiming the Raiders and Cardinals were close on a trade involving Carson Palmer.

However, later yesterday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that it would be “a real surprise” if Palmer was dealt to Arizona.

It isn’t often that two well-respected sources conflict each other, but that’s what we have here.

As of now, we know that the Raiders are on the verge of acquiring Matt Flynn from the Seahawks, and if they do, they will likely get rid of Palmer. The veteran quarterback has stubbornly refused to take a pay cut, and has forced the Raiders hand to either pay him or give him his pink slip.

There are a ton of questions surrounding Raider Nation at the moment, and it looks like this franchise will make a bold decision very shortly.

Lets work a little harder on acquiring some CB’s that can play. Lost out on Newman already.
