The Warriors were bested by their NorCal rivals on Wednesday night as the Kings came away with a 105-98 victory at Oracle Arena.
Isaiah Thomas led the way with 31 points for Sacramento, including seven three pointers.
Golden State struggled to make shots, with the backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson shooting 6/31 from the field. Thompson had a woeful night, scoring just four points and made just one of 13 field goal attempts.
It was a tight game after both teams made runs in the first quarter. At halftime, the Kings led 47-44, but they would pull away in the third quarter. Thomas’ last second shot put them up double-digits at the end of the third.
The Warriors attempted to put up a fight and make a comeback, but missed shots and opportunities ruled the night, as they dropped a disappointing game to the lowly Kings.
