Terrence Newman is turning this into part two of LeBron James’ “The Decision.”
The free agent cornerback is still deciding between the Raiders and Bengals, despite tweeting that he would choose a team by the end of last week.
On Friday, he released another tweet, saying:
Sorry to say that I have yet to come up with a decision.Too important to put a time frame on but it will be done soon.Salute to all fans

Last week, his agent claimed that Newman was giving “strong consideration” for signing with the Raiders
“He liked the coaches and overall gameplan presented by Reggie McKenzie,” his agent, Ben Dogra of CAA Football, told the Bay Area News Group.“Terrence hopes to make a decision shortly after the owner’s meetings. He is considering Oakland and Cincinnati.”
In 15 games last season, Newman had 53 tackles with one forced fumble and two interceptions. The 34-year old cornerback spent his first nine seasons with the Cowboys before heading to Cincinnati.
