The New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reportedly discussing a trade to send cornerback Darrelle Revis to Tampa Bay.

According to SI’s Peter King, the Buccaneers are willing to part with their first and second round draft picks to land Revis.

The Buccaneers are “the only serious bidder” at the moment, and the talks are at “a fragile state.”

At this point, it seems as if Revis will be traded at all, it will be to the Buccaneers.

The 49ers were interested in acquiring Revis earlier, according to several media reports. After trading away Alex Smith, the 49ers had a plethora of draft picks, and word spread that they were chasing a deal for Revis.

However, it seems as if that will not happen.

Revis is regarded by many as the top cornerback in the league, but missed all but two games of the 2012 season with a torn ACL and subsequent knee surgery.
