NFL Free Agency: 49ers WR Ted Ginn To Visit Panthers

It is a foregone conclusion that Ted Ginn has played his last game in a 49er uniform, as NinerNoise reported earlier this month that he would not be re-signed.

He met with the Bengals last week, and according to radio host Howard Balzer, will visit with the Carolina Panthers.

Ginn came over to the 49ers in 2010 via a trade from the Dolphins, and served as a punt and kickoff returner. Last season, he had 326 yards on 32 punt returns and 253 yards on 11 kickoff returns.

However, he was essentially a non-factor in terms of receiving, catching just two passes for one yard in 13 games. His production at wide receiver has declined every year since 2008.
