Warriors Continue Road Trip in New Orleans: Game Preview

Fresh off a huge win against the Rockets, the Warriors are at it again in New Orleans. This is a team that is a lot better than their record shows, and with the depth that they have, they could easily be in the playoffs. Why they don’t win is past me. With youngsters like Anthony Davis, Eric Gordon, Greivis Vasquez and Austin Rivers, this team has a very bright future. The Warriors, however, need to win this game.

Keys to the Game:

Get on the Glass: This is pretty much what the Warriors need to do. When they’re outrebounding a team, they’re putting some W’s on the board. It’s that simple. If Anthony Davis has a huge night, the Warriors aren’t going to win. That’s how these things work, and there’s no such thing as a guaranteed win in the NBA.

Play Defense: Self Explanatory. Look at what happened in Houston! If the Warriors continue to play defense like that, they’ll go to the finals! Not really, but they limited the highest scoring team in the league to just 78 points. If you ask me, that’s pretty damn impressive. The Warriors need to find a way to do this against the Hornets.

Game Predictions:

Matchup to Watch: Anyone vs Carl Landry and Jarrett Jack

Players to Watch: Klay Thompson, Eric Gordon

Leading Scorer: Stephen Curry

Winner: Warriors pull it off

Probable Lineups:

1. Curry vs Vasquez

2. Thompson vs Gordon

3. Barnes vs Aminu

4. Lee vs Davis

5. Bogut vs Lopez
