The 49ers have signed outside linebacker Parys Haralson to a one-year deal, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
The deal is worth $1.3 million with a chance to make $1.7 million. Haralson was owed $2.87 million next season, so this deal saves the 49ers a bit of money.
Haralson sat out the entire 2012 season with a torn triceps muscle after starting all 16 games in 2011, when he recorded 30 tackles, two sacks, and three forced fumbles.
He was drafted by the 49ers in the fifth round in 2006. His best season came in 2008 when he led the NFC West with eight sacks.
