Contrary to earlier reports, the Raiders have not signed cornerback Terrence Newman, who visited with the team last week.
Newman left the Raiders facility without a deal, but left the door open with a few tweets.

And there’s this:

Newman also retweeted several tweets pleading with him to sign with either the Raiders or Bengals, heightening the drama even further.
In 15 games last season, Newman had 53 tackles with one forced fumble and two interceptions. The 34-year old cornerback spent his first nine seasons with the Cowboys before heading to Cincinnati.
