The 49ers have signed former Bengals linebacker and special teams player Dan Skula to a two-year deal, the team announced.

Skuta has spent his entire four-year career with the Bengals. Last season, he recorded 15 tackles in 16 games on special teams, ranking third among all players.

His addition would obviously bolster the 49ers special teams, which needs some improvement.

The 49ers also met with free agents Nnamdi Asomugha and Louis Delmas today, but there has been no update on their status.

Signing Skuta was 1 of 3 signings they need to perform, sign Asomugha and Delmas or Woodson.
