The Raiders have signed linebacker Kaluka Maiava to a three-year deal worth $6 million, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Drafted by the Browns in the fourth round in 2009, Maiava recorded 35 tackles, two forced fumbles and two sacks in 16 games last season. He has spent his entire four years in Cleveland.
Maiava visited the Raiders yesterday before agreeing to terms today. He is expected to compete with Miles Burris at weakside linebacker on a team that is in desperate need of any kind of defense.
