Cross one name off of potential additions to the 49ers secondary.

Free agent safety LaRon Landry has inked a four-year, $24 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts, according to CBSSports.

Landry was set up to visit with the 49ers on Thursday if he didn’t sign with the Colts today.

The sixth overall pick in 2007 of the Redskins, Landry was named a member of the All-Rookie defense and played for Washington for five seasons.

With him now off the market, the 49ers will look to target Ed Reed, Nnamdi Asomugha, and Charles Woodson to beef up their secondary.
