The Sacramento Kings scored 34 points in the first quarter and would never look back, defeating the Bulls by 42 points at home.
Without big man DeMarcus Cousins, Tyreke Evans led the way with 26 points and seven assists, while Isaiah Thomas chipped in 22.
There was really no contest from the very beginning, with the Kings building up a double-digit lead and extending it to 30 at halftime.
“They just kicked our a$$, ” said Bulls guard Nate Robinson. “Period. Simple, point blank. That was a good old fashioned a$$ whoopin.”
That was perhaps the best way to sum up their fourth largest win in franchise history.
