The Warriors will likely have David Lee on Monday when they face the Knicks at home.
Lee sat out Saturday night’s game in a loss against the Bucks with a knee contusion. However, he assured CSN’s Ric Bucher that he would be good to go for Monday.
He suffered the injury when he banged knees with Thomas Robinson of the Rockets on Friday in the first quarter. He later returned to action, but was clearly in pain throughout the game.
Lee will be facing his former team in the Knicks for the first time this season. In their previous meeting, Lee was suspended for his role in an altercation.
He has been a work horse throughout the year, averaging 18.9 points and 11.1 rebounds per game for the season.
Lee was named to the All-Star team last month, becoming the first Warrior to be recognized since Latrell Sprewell in 1997.
