Manny Ramirez Signs With Taiwanese Team

“He’s back,”….but in Taiwan.

Yes, according to CBS Sports, former MLB slugger Manny Ramirez has signed with EDA Rhinos of the Chinese Professional League and will arrive on Monday.

The deal was contingent upon Ramirez not signing with a major league team by March 7, which didn’t happen.

His last stint with an MLB team was with the A’s last year, when he signed a minor-league deal. However, he never was called up to join the big club and was granted his release.

Ramirez hit .312 with 555 home runs and 1831 RBI during his 19 years in the majors.
