Report: 49ers to Meet With Cullen Jenkins

The 49ers are scheduled to meet with free agent defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins on Tuesday, reports ESPN.

Jenkins, a nine-year veteran, recorded four sacks and 22 tackles in 16 games with the Eagles. He had signed a five year, $25 million contract with Philadelphia in 2011, but was released this offseason.

He was a staple on the Packers defense from 2004-2010, winning the Super Bowl in his last season in Green Bay.

The 49ers could definitely use some help on their defensive line, with Isaac Sopoaga and Ricky Jean-Francois entertaining offers to sign elsewhere.
