In less than 140 characters, Randy Moss bid farewell to the 49ers.
The self-proclaimed “greatest wide receiver of all-time” will seemingly not return to the 49ers in 2013, instead opting for free agency.
Wished we could’ve finished the job!!thanks for the opportunity an good luck in the future 9ers

Moss recorded 28 receptions for 434 yards and three touchdowns while playing in all 16 games this season. By no means was it a disappointment, considering that he had been out of football entirely in 2011 and played for three different teams in 2010.
However, the future Hall of Famer failed to provide the “spark” or big plays that he became famous for while with the Vikings and Patriots earlier in his career.
In January, a source told NBC Sports that Moss plans to play at least one more year, so look for him to be on a different sideline next season.
