Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut will miss the entire five-game road trip, reports Ric Bucher.
Bucher says the Warriors are being cautious with Bogut, who is out indefinitely with back spams. An MRI done last week revealed a disc protrusion that caused back spasms.
Continuing on, Bucher reports that the Warriors feel Bogut should be back in time for the final stretch of the season when they have 16 of their last 22 games at home.
“[The Warriors are] confident they can get him fit and dialed in with the rest of the team before the postseason starts, all in a back-friendly environment,” says Bucher.
Bogut has played in just 12 games this season, and recently came back from an aggravating ankle problem. He is averaging 7.1 points and 4.6 rebounds in under 23 minutes per game.
