The reigning MLS MVP is staying in San Jose for at least the next four seasons.
There were rumors that the prolific scorer would change scenery and play in Scandinavia, but striker Chris Wondolowski signed a four-year deal to remain with the Earthquakes, according to SI.
He will make $600,000 in the first year of his contract, doubling his $300,000 salary from last season.
Wondolowski scored an incredible 27 goals last season, tying an MLS record for most goals in a single season.
He will be gearing up for the start of the MLS season, which begins on Sunday for San Jose.
