Andrew Bogut can’t seem to shake the injury bug, as the center is questionable for tonight’s game against the San Antonio Spurs with back spasms, reports Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Bogut played a season-high 29 minutes on Wednesday night against the Phoenix Suns. Perhaps there’s a connection, as Bogut’s been on a tight leash since the Warriors acquired him last year.
Unfortunately for Golden State, this news comes just a couple days after Bogut was cleared to play in back to backs. If anything, it’s just another indication that the injury-plagued center might not be ready for that task yet.
The Warriors traded Jeremy Tyler to the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday, leaving Andris Biedrins and Festus Ezeli as assurance for Bogut.
