Report: Warriors Discussed Trading Carl Landry

The trade deadline has come and gone, and the Warriors front office managed to make a few salary-dumping moves by trading Charles Jenkins and Jeremy Tyler.

However, they did discuss making a larger deal involving backup power forward Carl Landry.

Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group reports that the Warriors “were exploring options” for Landry, who can opt out of his contract after this season.

Landry signed a two-year, $8 million contract in the offseason with Golden State, and has proven to be a valuable asset off the bench, averaging 11.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
