Earlier today, it was reported that the Hornets are interested in trading Eric Gordon for the Warriors Klay Thompson.

Now, a source has told a former NBA agent and draft expert that it would be “stunning” if Gordon was traded.

The Times-Picayune first reported that the Hornets are eyeing Thompson. Citing a source, New Orleans would be interested in “any trade” involving Thompson.

The Warriors have been high on Eric Gordon, who the Hornets are putting on the trade block. However, they are not intrigued by neither his $58 million contract over four years, nor his potency to injury.

They are also reluctant to part with Thompson, who they consider to be a rising star.

However, Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio offers a conflicting viewpoint, tweeting that the trade talks do have legs and the teams have reached the “more than exploratory” stage. He also claimed that any trade would involve Andris Biedrins or Richard Jefferson for salary cap reasons.
