Mark Jackson: "We'll Shake Some Things Up"

The Warriors are falling and falling fast. They have now dropped six in a row after their loss to the Jazz where they allowed 115 points, looking like the Warriors of old (game recap).

Head coach Mark Jackson did not hold back after the game, as he spoke to the media.

“We’ll shake some things up,” he said. “I’m not going to jump off this ship. I believe in my guys.”

One of the changes Jackson will make is to have his players earn their minutes.

“One thing that will take place is guys are going to play for their minutes,” said Jackson. “We’ve lost six in a row. We haven’t played good basketball.”

Jackson says that the Warriors need to get back to how they were playing for much of the first half of the season.

“We’ve got to play better,” he continued. “Energy. Effort. Commitment. Defending. The things that put us in position to be a very good basketball team. We’re not doing that right now.”

Jackson added that he was tired of hearing “my bad” from his players.

The Warriors will have no time to dwell on this loss, as they head back home to face the Suns tomorrow night.
