Sharks, Warriors Winless Since Niners’ Super Bowl Loss

Could it be the curse of New Orleans?

Neither the Sharks nor the Warriors have won a single game since the 49ers lost the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 3.

After starting off 7-0, the Sharks have dropped six in a row, their latest loss coming in a frustrating 1-0 defeat to the Predators in overtime on Tuesday. They will have a chance to snap their skid tonight at the Blackhawks.

The Warriors limped into the All-Star break on a five-game losing streak. They looked like the Warriors of old during this stretch, playing horrid defense and simply being out-worked on both ends of the court.

On the bright side, both teams would be in the postseason if the season ended today.

However, whatever way you want to look at it, the Bay Area’s pro teams are a combined 0-11 since the Niners fell to the Ravens in in Super Bowl XLVII.

Conspiracy theory? You can be the judge of that.

Warriors have got to get going. Hopefully the break will help.
