The Kings rode into Memphis on Tuesday pumped with adrenaline from the support of their home fans the previous two games, both of which they won.
It was a different story on the road, where the Kings have struggled mightily this season. Their short two-game win streak was snapped by the Grizzlies in a 108-101 loss.
Tonight, the Kings will place in a city where they haven’t won a game in since 2003: the Mavericks.
Dallas comes in having won three of its last five, and may be settling into a groove with the return of Dirk Nowitzki. Of course, the fact that Dallas is 21-3 in their last 24 games against the Kings doesn’t hurt.
So which Kings team will show up tonight? The one that showed energy and hustle during their two “Here We Buy” nights, or the one that was beaten in Memphis?
