Tonight in Sacramento, the focus will be less on the game itself and more on the future of the Kings.
It is “Here We Buy Night,” where a sellout crowd is expected at Sleep Train Arena to rally to keep their team in Sacramento. The grassroots effort has already raised more than $23 million towards season tickets in a new stadium.
As for the game, things don’t look all too well for Kings after going 1-5 on their recent road trip. They face a Jazz team that is 28-23 and have been on fire since the New Year.
Hopefully the energy of the crowd will inspire a victory from the hapless, struggling Kings.
