Raiders to Adjust Seating Capacity, Block Off Mount Davis

The Raiders will adjust their seating capacity by blocking off the top of Mount Davis in the O.Co Coliseum next season.

Mount Davis, the third deck of the stadium on the east side, will not be seating any fans and has already been blacked out in the seating chart on the Raiders’ website.

CSN reports that the following sections will be blocked off:

  • 335 through 355
  • 300 through 303
  • 331 through 334

The simple explanation for this is that the Raiders want to avoid their home games being blacked out because the stadium is not filled to 85 percent capacity, so removing 10,000+ seats from the equation will definitely help.

The Raiders have followed in the footsteps of the A’s, who have already blocked off the top of Mount Davis and the entire third deck during their home games.

The O.Co Coliseum is the only stadium in America that houses both a professional baseball and football team.
