David Lee proved why he deserved to be named to the All-Star team last week, as the he was named the Western Conference Player of the Week by the league.
In four games during the week of Jan. 28 – Feb. 4, Lee averaged 18.0 points, 14.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.0 steal per game as the Warriors went 4-0.
Lee has been a work horse throughout the year, leading the league with 31 double-doubles. He is averaging 19.4 points and 11.1 rebounds per game for the season.
Lee was named to the All-Star team last month, becoming the first Warrior to be recognized since Latrell Sprewell in 1997.
