Dons' Hot 3-Point Shooting Fuels Win Over Pepperdine

Cole Dickerson led the way for San Francisco on Saturday, scoring 27 points and collecting 11 rebounds, as the Dons defeated Pepperdine, 86-78.

Cody Doolin also had a nice game for the Dons. He scored 13 points and dished out eight assists on just one turnover. Off the bench, Avry Holmes had 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting, and 4-0f-4 from beyond the arc. In total, San Francisco went 14-of-24 from downtown.

The deciding factors was ultimately the Dons’ proficient 3-point shooting in the second half, as they hit eight threes despite trailing 42-35 at halftime.

Stacy Davis had a double-double for Pepperdine off the bench, scoring 18 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Lorne Jackson also chipped in, scoring 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting.

Thanks to some nifty 3-point shooting, the Dons outscored Pepperdine by 15 in the second en route to their third in WCC play.
