Cousins Sounds Off: “We Never Know What’s Going On”

DeMarcus Cousins is back at it, folks.

This time, he’s ripping his team for not producing an All-Star and complaining about the uncertainty of the franchise.

“Every year there are allegations,” he told SI, “and we’re just as lost as the fans. We never know what’s going on. We never know what to expect. We can’t just focus on ball. We’re residents of Sacramento, too, but we don’t know what’s going on.”

The Kings own a 17-30 record, which is third worst in the Western Conference. This is one of the reasons why Cousins wasn’t selected as an All-Star, and sophomore Isaiah Thomas was denied an opportunity to play in the Rising Stars Game.

“There’s no reason Isaiah shouldn’t have been in that game,” Cousins said. “He’s had an incredible year and once again he’s not even mentioned. So I feel like that’s on the organization.”

To top it off, Cousins called this season “a year lost.”

Ladies and gents, just another day with DeMarcus Cousins.
