49ers Highly Interested in Trading For Darrelle Revis

The San Francisco 49ers are highly interested in trading for New York Jets’ cornerback Darrelle Revis, reports NBC Sports.

Revis is regarded by many as the top cornerback in the league, but missed all but two games of the 2012 season with a torn ACL and subsequent knee surgery.

The Jets are reportedly “strongly leaning” towards trading Revis, and they want a first and second round draft pick for him.

A multitude teams are interested in trading for Revis in addition to the 49ers, including the Patriots, Broncos, Bills, and Seahawks.

With the plethora of young talent on the 49ers’ roster, they can afford to give up some draft picks to strengthen their already-stellar defense.
