Bogut Getting Closer to Return

The much anticipated return of Andrew Bogut to the Warriors’ lineup is getting closer and closer, and we are witnessing his progress right in front of our own eyes.

Bogut ran wind sprints at full velocity during warm-ups before Monday afternoon’s game against the Clippers at home.

Although there is still no timetable on his return, one can surmise that the Aussie is getting much closer than he was a few months ago.

The Warriors big man played in just four games this season before calling himself out indefinitely with the nagging ankle injury. He originally planned to come back after 7-10 days, but after several weeks had gone by, it was revealed that he had microscopic surgery in March of 2012 and it would be a while before he could see any action.

Since then, neither he nor the coaching staff has offered any specific time period for his return, allowing him to rehab without any pressure and come back when he feels comfortable.
