The Golden State Warriors have sent Jeremy Tyler back to Santa Cruz of the D-League, according to Hoops Rumors.
This is his fifth time being re-assigned, as the center has been used sparingly by the Warriors.
Tyler was the 39th overall pick in the 2011 draft by the Bobcats, and he was the purchased by the Warriors shortly thereafter.
He has appeared in 16 games this season, averaging a little over a point per game.
However, Tyler has been lights out in four games with Santa Cruz, scoring 15 points and grabbing 8.3 rebounds per game.
The Warriors appear to be taking full advantage of the proximity of Santa Cruz to Oakland, using the D-League system at will to give their younger players (i.e. Tyler, Kent Bazemore) opportunities to get more playing time.
