Ryan Theriot, the man who scored the winning run in Game 4 of the 2012 World Series, is drawing interest from the Giants and Phillies.

CBS Sports reports that he would be used as a backup infielder for either club.

Theriot hit .270 with no home runs and 28 RBI in 104 games last season for the Giants. He was a starter for a portion of the year, but finished the season on the bench as a pinch hitter or defensive replacement.

If the Giants re-sign the veteran, he would likely be used as a backup to Brandon Crawford at shortstop.
