Former Sharks’ defenseman Jim Vandermeer has signed a one-year with the Canucks.
Vandermeer played in 25 games for the Sharks last season, and had one goal and three assists.
The stay-at-home defenseman may have played sparingly for the Sharks, but filled his role perfectly and provided veteran experience.
The Canucks will be Vandermeer’s seventh team in 11 seasons.
