Tyrone Wallace scored 16 points off the bench as the Cal Bears defeated the Washington State Cougars 67-54 on Saturday night.
Allen Crabbe added 14 and Justin Cobbs had 10 points.
The Bears led 29-27 at halftime, and the game would remain close until the final stretch of the second half when they went on a 10-2 run to take a 15 point lead with under a minute remaining.
“We just told each other we gotta get serious if we want to make a run at the Pac-12, like we’re capable of doing,” said Crabbe, “We have all the weapons that we need to be successful. We all have to get on the same page.”
