Lyon, who has spent 11 years in the major leagues with five different teams, went 4-2 last season with a 3.10 ERA in 67 games with the Astros and Blue Jays.
Over his career, he has a 40-45 record with a 4.12 ERA and 79 saves.
The report states that if the Giants sign Lyon, it would ”likely be the last move of the offseason,” implying that the popular Brian Wilson may be playing elsewhere next season.
