Cousins is not with the team in Portland for tonight’s game with the Trail Blazers (Coach’s decision), reprots Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.
Details concerning the DeMarcus Cousins’ situation continue to leak out. Dan Fegan, who was hired to become Cousins’s new agent on December 23rd, may have altered the Kings’ decision to reinstate him after just one game, reports Mark Perner of the Phildelphia Daily News. Perner also proclaims that the Kings are being too “lenient” with the problematic youngster.
As we heard earlier this week, head coach Keith Smart isn’t set on allowing Cousins to return the court in actual games. In fact, it may be a while before Cousins plays in actual games rather than just practice with the team.
Speaking of practices…
Cousins reportedly relapsed on Monday when he was working out with Kings’ assistant coach Clifford Ray. According to Jason Jones, voices were raised during the workout, and when it concluded, Cousins’s instantly left the court and didn’t return.
The Cousins’ saga continue.
