- Tyreke Evans, who is dealing with a sore left knee, will not play on Wednesday in Portland, reports Jason Jones. Head coach Keith Smart said that Evans did some work on the treadmill today (Monday), but has not been at practice on a full-time basis. Evans has missed four straight games, and seven of the team’s past 11 games.
- Francisco Garcia, who missed his second consecutive game against Portland on Sunday night with a sore lower back, returned to practice today (Monday). The last time Garcia played was Wednesday against Golden State, and he logged just 11 minutes. His minutes have been down even when healthy this year.
- Fresh off being reinstated, DeMarcus Cousins is back at it again. Below is a tweet from Jones, who is referring to the Kings’ practice on Monday.
There was a moment when Cousins was working with Clifford Ray where voices were raised. Not sure why, but not a good look for DMC
