The Lakers may be 11-14 and off to an extremely disappointing start, but time is on their side and their injured superstars are starting to mend.
Steve Nash is planning to make his return this Saturday against the Warriors at Oracle Arena, according to Yahoo! Sports. He has been out since November 1, when he fractured his fibula against the Trail Blazers.
Nobody expected the Lakers to struggle so mightily to begin the season, and even though the Warriors have gotten off to a hot start, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to believe that Los Angeles will start to make their push with Nash back in the lineup.
It doesn’t matter which team you support, you’ve got to admit that a starting backcourt of Nash and Kobe Bryant, with Dwight Howard in the post, sounds pretty lethal.
In two games this season, Nash is averaging 4.5 points and 4.0 assists.
