Broncos Destroy Pacific Union 77-44

There was really no contest from the start in this game as the Santa Clara Univeristy Broncos wrapped up a six-game homestand with a convincing 77-44 rout of Pacific Union.

Marc Trasolini had a game-high 14 points, Kevin Foster had 12 and Robert Garrett had a near double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.

The Broncos jumped out to an 18-0 lead thanks to four turnovers by Pacific Union. In fact, Pacific Union had just nine total points with under five minutes remaining in the first half as Santa Clara led by 27 at halftime.

The second half was much of the same, as Niyi Harrison’s jumper put the Broncos up 73-30 with 5:35 left to play. I’m pretty confident that a high school team could have beaten Pacific Union (0-7) on this day, as the Broncos improved to a 6-2 record on the season.
