Coming into this game, the Warriors need to remember that the Pistons are much better than their record says. They did have an 0-8 start, but since then, have played pretty good basketball and are looking tougher and tougher to beat. On paper, their roster looks very promising, and on any given night, their players could go off. Seems strange how these kinds of things only happen to the Warriors, doesn’t it?
The Warriors, especially without Andrew Bogut, are going to have to face some very tough matchups. They need to deal with rebounding, and the backcourt needs to pick up their assists and rebound. If Klay Thompson can get on the glass like many know that he can, the Warriors should have that area covered. If the Warriors want to win, Festus Ezeli is going to have to play extended minutes and have a good game.
