Warriors Catch Magic at Right Time: Game Preview

Take a look at the NBA standings and you can see that the Warriors are 10-6 and have won three consecutive games as well as five straight home games. Oh, and they’re also tied for first in the Pacific Division.

Tonight, they face an Orlando Magic team that is coming off an improbable victory over the Lakers on the road last night. Theoretically, the Warriors are catching the Magic at the right time: on the second game of a back-to-back, on the road, and after they had put all their effort into defeating the Lakers.

Aaron Afflalo is the leading scorer for Orlando, averaging 15.6 points per contest. However, they have a well-balanced attack with all five starters averaging double-digits thus far.

The matchup to watch tonight will be David Lee vs. Glenn Davis. Both are excellent scorers, but no-so-great defenders. Look for these two rack up the scoreboard.
