Cardinal Host Pioneers at Maples: Game Preview


The Stanford Cardinal (5 – 3) host the Denver Pioneers (1 – 4) today at 2 pm in Maples Pavilion.  The Cardinal are coming off a 68 – 57 home win over Seattle Wednesday, while the Pioneers lost 61 – 50 to Southern Mississippi Tuesday in Hattiesburg.

The leading scorers for the Pioneers are Royce O’Neale (13.4 ppg), Chris Udofia (12.2 ppg), and Chase Hallam (10.2 ppg).  The leading rebounders are Udofia (6.4 rpg) and O’Neale (5.8 rpg).  As a team, Denver is averaging 58.0 ppg and 28.4 rpg.  The Pioneers are shooting 37.6 % from the field, 29.9 % behind the 3-point line, and 74.3% from the free throw line.
